Paper creations

To help me create characters in 3D that look like paper, I decided to try to create things real paper, below is the photo of my attemps.

 

Looking at the moodborads i created, I really liked a faces maded from a toliet roll. Below is the image of the face. 

 

I try to repicate it in both paper and 3Ds. the paper face was succussful, but and 3D version didnt work very well. this highlighted to me how hard it will be to create a paper like characters.



 



Character Design

For this asignment I was asked to create two characters using my chosen theme of paper. One character had to be no more than 600tri's and the other character no more than 6000. I first created moodboards, one with paper art and another with characters mae from paper.
